Drop Loop sheaths are the traditional style. They hang from the belt and are a good way to carry a small to large knife, they will ride lower than the randall style and are therefore not very good for concealment. There are several way of securing the knife with different security strap locations.

The drop loops can be scaled up or down to fit most any knife.
